# Updated: Count Up

The animated number counter now offers odometer and spring motion, short forms like 1.2K and 3.4M, and replay on hover.

The Count Up text animation on [React Bits](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/resources/react-bits>) has been [updated](<https://reactbits.dev/text-animations/count-up>). It is an animated number counter that supports formatting and decimals.

## What the counter can do

- Numbers roll into place like an odometer.

- Numbers settle with a spring.

- Large values shorten to forms such as 1.2K or 3.4M.

- The animation replays on hover.

## Installation

The component is available in JavaScript or TypeScript, with plain CSS or Tailwind. The TypeScript and Tailwind version installs with npx shadcn@latest add @react-bits/CountUp-TS-TW. The page's interactive preview, customization controls and source tabs need JavaScript enabled.
