# Updated: Antigravity

By Steven Van · 2026-10-12

The rebuilt React Bits background adds hold-to-charge bursts, presets, a liftoff intro and a light mode, in JavaScript or TypeScript.

The [React Bits](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/resources/react-bits>) Antigravity background has been rebuilt. It is now a field of crisp, colorful particles that lift into a glowing ring around the cursor and burst outward on click, as described in the [updated component page](<https://reactbits.dev/backgrounds/antigravity>).

## Motion and interaction

The particles swirl into a ring with springy motion and streak when they move fast. Holding the pointer down charges the effect, and releasing it sets off a burst.

## New options

- Presets

- A liftoff intro

- A light mode

## Install

The component is available in JavaScript or TypeScript, with plain CSS or Tailwind. The TypeScript and Tailwind version installs with npx shadcn@latest add @react-bits/Antigravity-TS-TW.
