# New: Flux Lines

By Steven Van · 2026-10-11

Flux Lines is a React background with a cursor magnet that reveals and curls the lines, installable in JavaScript or TypeScript, with CSS or Tailwind.

[React Bits](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/resources/react-bits>) has added [Flux Lines](<https://reactbits.dev/backgrounds/flux-lines>), a React background that draws glowing lines tracing a churning magnetic fluid.

## Cursor interaction

The cursor acts as a magnet. Moving it over the background reveals the lines and curls them.

## Installation

The component is available in JavaScript or TypeScript, with plain CSS or Tailwind. The TypeScript and Tailwind version installs with npx shadcn@latest add @react-bits/FluxLines-TS-TW. The component page has an interactive preview, customization controls and source tabs, which need JavaScript enabled.

The page lists Magnet Lines, Ferrofluid and Floating Lines as related components.
