# Perplexity voice mode runs Computer sessions and Projects

One voice session can span several Computer sessions, start tasks, and manage Projects. It is on the Mac app and the web for Pro and Max.

[Perplexity](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/perplexity>) updated voice mode on October 28. In one voice session you can work across multiple Computer sessions at once, start new tasks, and create and manage Projects.

Perplexity says the mode runs on OpenAI’s gpt-live-1. It is available now on the Mac app and on the web for Pro and Max subscribers. The announcement does not mention iOS, Windows, Android, or the free plan, and it does not add a price beyond those two subscriptions. No help article was linked. This is separate from voice isolation and from the Computer skills added earlier in the week.
