# Decisions API: pplx-decider-v1.1-27b replaces v1

Input tokens now cost $0.02 per million, and requests using the previous model name continue to work at the lower rate.

Input pricing for [Perplexity](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/perplexity>)'s Decisions API has halved from $0.04 to **$0.02 per million tokens**. Output tokens remain free.

## Use the new model in requests

The [updated quickstart](<https://docs.perplexity.ai/docs/decisions/quickstart>) uses pplx-decider-v1.1-27b. Developers should specify that model in new requests. Requests naming pplx-decider-v1-27b continue to work and are billed at the same $0.02 input rate.
