# Perplexity adds Claude Opus 5 as a model option

Perplexity's WANDR benchmark put Opus 5 second only to Fable 5, at 57% lower cost.

[Perplexity](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/perplexity>) and Perplexity Computer now offer Claude Opus 5 as a model option. Perplexity [benchmarked it](<https://x.com/i/status/2080778151962214575>) against six other models on WANDR: it was outperformed only by Fable 5, while costing 57% less.
