# Obsidian 1.15.0 Mobile (Early access)

By Steven Van · 2026-10-22

The early-access mobile build adds iOS voice capture with live transcription, Siri and Spotlight access to Quick Capture, and PDF export on mobile.

Obsidian's iOS Quick Capture can now record voice notes and transcribe them as you speak, including from the Lock Screen. The change is in the early-access [1.15.0 mobile release](<https://obsidian.md/changelog/2026-10-22-mobile-v1.15.0/>) of [Obsidian](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/apps/obsidian>), which also includes all new features and bug fixes up to Obsidian Desktop v1.15.0.

## Voice capture and Quick Capture

- Voice capture on iOS requires iOS 26. Recordings can be saved to your vault.

- Quick Capture is now available as a Spotlight action and through Siri, for example "Open Quick Capture in Obsidian".

- Setting Note Title to "Automatic" in Quick Capture uses the first 80 characters of the capture as the note title.

## New on mobile

Notes can now be exported to PDF on mobile.

## Improvements

- Manage vaults now uses the same design as the welcome screens, and can create a new Obsidian Sync vault.

- Bases: on phones, filters move into the Display menu, where each filter is a card that can be dragged to reorder.

- Bases: on phones, the number of results now shows in the search bar instead of under the view name.

- Android: the back button now goes back a screen in Manage vaults instead of closing the app.

- Pressing and holding no longer shows a ripple animation on devices that vibrate. Devices without vibration, like iPads, still show it.

- Tabs can now be dragged from one tab group to another in the tab switcher.

## Fixes

- The comment button was missing from the default editor toolbar.

- Android: the editor jumped back to the cursor when the keyboard or status bar changed size.

- The last community plugins and themes were hidden behind the keyboard while searching.
