# Obsidian 1.14.4 Desktop (Early access)

Early-access desktop build adds a kanban "Hide column" option, full-path search in sidebar views, and fixes for Bases and a metadata cache memory leak.
Obsidian 1.14.4 for desktop is out in early access to [Catalyst members](), with changes to [Obsidian]() Bases and to search in several sidebar views.
- Bases: kanban columns get a "Hide column" option in their right-click menu.
- Bases: a base made with "Create new base" now names its first view "View" instead of "Table".
- Search in the File Explorer, Bookmarks, Outline and Sync views now matches the full path of each item. Excluding a term (for example -Archive) hides a matching folder and everything inside it.
- The Outline and Outgoing links views now work for files opened from outside the vault.
Fixes in this release:
- Bases: "Copy path" no longer appears below "Delete" when right-clicking a file in a table, cards or kanban view.
- Bases: a base no longer fails to load when a view's groupOrder is not a list.
- Bases: "Add group" in the Group menu now adds a group when a link suggestion is selected.
- Property suggestions no longer sometimes show results for an earlier query, which had made Enter pick an old link instead of the one typed.
- A memory leak in the metadata cache after opening and editing external files is fixed.
