# Status group filters beta

By Steven Van · 2026-10-07

Developers can opt in with a beta header to match every option in a status group, including groups that share an option’s name.

Status filters in [Notion](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/notion>) can now match every option in a status group using status.group. Previously, a group that shared its name with an option, such as the default “In progress”, could only be matched as that option.

## Opting into the beta

Send the header Notion-Beta: status-group-filters-2026-10-06 to enable the new behaviour. With it, equals and does\_not\_equal match only option names, and views return saved group filters as group.

Requests without the header keep their existing behaviour. The [announcement](<https://developers.notion.com/page/changelog#october-7-2026>) details the beta.
