[**Notion**](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/notion>) announced [**Reorganizing query tools in Notion MCP**](<https://developers.notion.com/page/changelog#august-10-2026>) on August 10, 2026.

## What changed

Use notion-query-data-sources for both SQL queries and saved database views. To query a saved view, set mode to "view" and pass the same view\_url. Existing notion-query-database-view calls continue to work and now include migration guidance. We plan to remove this older tool in a follow-up change.
