# Notion lets you build workspaces in TypeScript

By Steven Van · 2026-07-23

The beta lets you define teamspaces, databases, and custom agents as code, then deploy them via the API.

[Notion](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/notion>) is piloting a way to build workspaces entirely in code. The [Notion as code beta](<https://x.com/i/status/2080331924732850687>) lets you define an entire workspace, teamspaces, databases, and custom agents, in TypeScript, then deploy it through the API.

Because the setup is just code, it can be built with coding agents, version-controlled in git, and redeployed to reproduce the same workspace anywhere it's needed.
