# Notion Agent can create and edit Office files on a computer

By Steven Van · 2026-10-27

Agent works in a secure workspace that reads files, runs simple code and returns a downloadable Excel, Word, PowerPoint or PDF file.

Notion Agent can now use a computer inside [Notion](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/notion>) to create and edit Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, PowerPoint decks and PDFs without leaving the workspace. Notion [announced the change on October 27](<https://x.com/NotionHQ/status/2115146056598163708>).

## How it works

According to Notion's help page, the Agent works in a secure workspace. There it reads the files, runs simple code, and returns a downloadable file.

## Availability

The announcement does not say which plans or platforms the feature is available on.
