# Notion can name the agent that last edited a page

By Steven Van · 2026-10-29

Last edited by can show an agent, an MCP client, or an automation. Notion does not say which plans include the label.

On October 29, [Notion](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/notion>) posted that Last edited by now shows which agent, MCP client, or automation made a change. Notion calls it a bit more accountability for edits that did not come from a person.

The image on the post is the demonstration. Notion's October 13 release already added version history that attributes edits to people and agents. This post is narrower: the Last edited by label itself can name an agent, an MCP client, or an automation, not only a teammate.

The post does not say which plans include the label, or whether it appears on every block or only on the page.
