# Notion adds an image generator to the editor

By Steven Van · 2026-04-21

Typing /image on a page prompts Notion to generate a graphic for it without leaving the editor.

Notion has added an image generator inside the editor: typing **/image** on a page prompts [Notion](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/notion>) to generate a graphic for it directly, without leaving the page.

The [announcement](<https://x.com/i/status/2046645858121240893>) frames it as an extension of page creation itself: if you can write a page, you can now illustrate it the same way.
