# Notion lets teams assign tasks to Claude and Cursor

The new External Agents feature adds AI tools as @-mentionable teammates on a shared Notion board.

Notion now lets teams assign tasks to [Notion](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/notion>). Claude and Cursor can be added to a shared board like any other teammate: @-mention one in a task, and it picks up the work and runs.

The feature is called [External Agents](<https://x.com/i/status/2069816393395012009>), and it's built for boards the whole team already uses, so agent tasks sit alongside human ones rather than in a separate tool.
