# Notion Agent can create and edit Office files

By Steven Van · 2026-10-27

Notion Agent can use a computer to create and edit Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and PDF files without leaving the workspace.

On October 27, [Notion](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/notion>) said its Agent can use a computer to create and edit an Excel spreadsheet, a Word document, a PowerPoint deck, or a PDF without leaving Notion.

Official Notion Agent announcement demo.

The Agent help page describes a secure computer workspace that reads PDF, CSV, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ZIP files, runs calculations or simple code, and returns a downloadable file. One example is “Use a computer to analyze this spreadsheet and return an updated XLSX.” Agents could already read and create Office files as of the July 1 release, and the October 19 release said they have their own computer and browser. This post is specifically about creating and editing those files with that computer.

The help page does not list a separate price for the computer workspace. On Business and Enterprise, Auto uses Standard usage and picking a model uses Select usage. Web browsing remains a separate toggle.
