# Admin API list endpoints accept start\_cursor

By Steven Van · 2026-10-09

The older cursor parameter still works but is deprecated, and requests with conflicting cursor values return a 400 error.

Pagination requests to [Notion](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/notion>)’s List MCP client connections and List personal access tokens endpoints now advance correctly when using start\_cursor. Previously, both endpoints ignored the parameter and returned the first page again.

Pass the previous response’s next\_cursor as start\_cursor to request the next page. The older cursor parameter still works but is deprecated. Sending both parameters with different values returns a 400 error, as noted in the [endpoint documentation](<https://developers.notion.com/reference/admin/list-personal-access-tokens>) and release note.
