# Gen2 Streaming Decommissioned

Murf decommissioned Gen2 for its Streaming API and recommends migrating to Falcon 2. Gen2 remains available for non-streaming text-to-speech.

Gen2 is no longer available on the [Murf AI](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/murf>) Streaming API. Murf directs users who have not yet migrated to use Falcon 2 for streaming speech generation.

Gen2 remains available for non-streaming text-to-speech through the [Synthesize Speech endpoint](<https://murf.ai/api/docs/api-reference/text-to-speech/generate>), which returns a URL to the generated audio file along with associated properties.
