# Morphic adds Seedance 2.5, ByteDance's new video model

By Steven Van · 2026-08-07

Morphic now offers Seedance 2.5's 30-second clips alongside Kling, Veo, and Vidu, starting on its free tier.

[Morphic](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/morphic>) has flipped the switch on Seedance 2.5, making ByteDance's new flagship video model live for everyone on morphic.com. The announcement itself was one line, but the timing says plenty: barely a week after ByteDance's July 31 launch, Morphic is among the first browser-based creative studios to offer the model, and it lands inside a workspace built around swapping freely between the best video models available.

## What Seedance 2.5 unlocks inside Morphic

Seedance 2.5 generates up to 30 seconds of native video in a single pass, a big jump from the 5-to-15-second ceiling most models still live under. Per Morphic's own model documentation, it accepts up to 50 multimodal references per generation, broken down as 30 images, 10 video clips, and 10 audio tracks, and it produces native audio with voice, music, and sound effects across more than 10 languages. Morphic exposes the model in three modes: text-to-video, image-to-video, and reference-to-video, with the model's stronger in-clip editing available for surgical fixes instead of full re-rolls.

## One model in a swappable lineup

Morphic's core appeal has always been that it is not married to a single model. Seedance 2.5 joins a roster that includes Kling 3.0, Veo 3.1, and Vidu Q3, and you can switch models mid-project when one handles a shot better than another. The platform's own tools wrap around whichever model you pick: a frames-to-video workflow that turns 2 to 5 keyframes plus a motion description into a finished sequence, and a camera rig that lets you choose a camera body, lens, and focal length like a DP, shifting color, contrast, and texture to match. Seedance 2.5's long-duration consistency makes it an obvious pick for the keyframe workflow, where holding characters and lighting steady across 30 seconds is the whole game.

## Pricing starts free, no GPU required

Everything runs in the browser, so there is no hardware barrier to trying the new model. Morphic's free tier includes up to 20 credits per month, with paid plans at Basic ($9), Standard ($24), Pro ($45), and Pro Max ($170), plus custom enterprise pricing. Finished sequences can be converted into reusable one-click workflow templates, which matters if you plan to run the same Seedance 2.5 setup across a batch of assets.

## The rollout race around ByteDance's model

Seedance 2.5 debuted at Volcano Engine's FORCE conference and launched July 31 inside ByteDance's own apps before spreading to third-party platforms. Runway and Lovart shipped their integrations the same week Morphic did, each with different resolution caps and pricing. Morphic's angle is choice: rather than betting on one model, it puts Seedance 2.5 next to its rivals and lets the shot decide. For creators comparing platforms, that flexibility plus a free tier makes Morphic one of the cheapest ways to find out what the new model can actually do.
