# Midjourney previews V8.2 and speeds up draft mode

A --preview flag tests V8.2's look ahead of launch, while draft batches now cycle --sref random styles 24x faster.

Midjourney is testing early looks at its next model. Adding **--preview** to a prompt now renders with V8.2's aesthetics and personalization, ahead of a full release.

Separately, big-batch draft mode now supports **--sref random**, letting a batch cycle through random style references 24 times faster than before, useful for scanning a wide range of styles quickly.
