# Websites made in Manus can install as desktop apps

By Steven Van · 2026-10-27

Publish a Manus site, open it in Chrome, and use the address-bar Install button. Manus says there is no extra setup and no app store.

Every website made with [Manus](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/manus>) can now be installed as a desktop app, the company said on October 27, 2026. The post says there is no extra setup and no app store.

Manus shows a published site installing from Chrome.

Manus's own follow-up is the whole procedure: publish the site in Manus, open it in Chrome, and click Install in the address bar. Manus says that works on every site you make with Manus. The demo shows the Chrome install flow on a published page, then the site opening in its own window.

That is the extent of the announcement. Manus has not published a changelog or help article for it, so the posts do not say which operating systems are covered beyond what Chrome's install button supports, whether the installed app works offline, or how it differs from installing any other site from Chrome. It is also separate from the Manus desktop app, which is the agent itself.
