# Manus scheduled tasks now carry context between runs

By Steven Van · 2026-05-17

Recurring tasks continue in the same thread instead of restarting from scratch each run.

Scheduled tasks in [Manus](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/manus>) can now carry context forward between runs instead of starting fresh each time. A recurring task continues in the same task thread, so it keeps whatever context built up in prior runs rather than losing it between executions.

Manus frames the change as scheduling not just when a task runs, but where and with what context. Full details are in the [announcement](<https://x.com/i/status/2056392345050927447>).
