# Manus recommends missing connectors mid-task

By Steven Van · 2026-05-06

The AI action engine suggests enabling the right app when a task needs one that isn't connected yet, on desktop and mobile.

Manus can now spot mid-conversation when a task needs an app that isn't connected yet, and offer to enable it on the spot. Ask [Manus](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/manus>) to update a Notion page or summarize Gmail feedback, and if the relevant connector isn't active, it recommends the connector rather than stalling.

Once approved, Manus enables the connector and continues the task without leaving the conversation. Any login or authorization the connector requires still has to be completed by the user; Manus does not bypass permission controls, and nothing is enabled without confirmation. Recommendations are drawn from the user's existing connector list, matched against what the current task needs, and work across all Manus tasks including on mobile.
