# Magica adds Sonnet 5 and Nano Banana Lite

By Steven Van · 2026-07-01

Sonnet 5 plans and directs each shot while Nano Banana Lite renders images faster and cheaper than the prior model.

[Magica](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/magica>) now runs Claude Sonnet 5 alongside Nano Banana Lite in the same agent. Sonnet 5 plans and runs the shot end to end without the user needing prompting skills, while Nano Banana Lite generates images at near-flagship quality in seconds, at a lower cost than the previous model. See the [announcement](<https://x.com/i/status/2072301718885335495>) for details.
