# Macro adds Snippets, reusable markdown you can insert anywhere

By Steven Van · 2026-10-19

Save formatted bits of markdown as Snippets, insert them with a semicolon, and share them across your company as templates.

[Macro](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/macro>) introduced Snippets on October 19, pre-saved bits of markdown you can insert nearly anywhere in your workspace.

Snippets keep their formatting as well as their text, so they work as templates for things like outreach emails. They can be shared across a whole company, for example to keep a sales team on the same talking points. Type “;” to open the Snippet menu, or create one in your Drive tab.
