# LTX Studio adds SDR-to-HDR conversion for existing videos

The upgrade recovers clipped highlights and lost shadow detail in videos already generated in LTX Studio, without a new generation pass.

LTX Studio can now convert existing videos from SDR to HDR without regenerating them from scratch. The [LTX Studio](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/ltx-studio>) team built the feature to address a common post-production problem with AI video: highlights clipping and shadows losing detail once footage moves past generation into finishing, where the source material lacks the range editors need.

The [upgrade](<https://x.com/i/status/2047403475059748890>) applies to videos already made in LTX, recovering that range in place rather than requiring a new generation pass.
