# LiveAvatar makes talking avatars from a single photo

By Steven Van · 2026-04-24

No video shoot needed: a headshot, render, or AI-generated face now works to create a conversational avatar.

Uploading a single image to [LiveAvatar](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/liveavatar>) now produces an avatar that listens and talks back. Previously, creating an avatar required a two-minute video shoot; now any face works, including a headshot, a render, or an AI-generated character, with no studio, script, or retakes required.
