# Krea adds Seedance 2.5 for 30-second, multi-shot AI video

By Steven Van · 2026-08-07

The new model takes up to 50 references per generation and supports 4K output with synchronized audio.

[Krea](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/krea-ai>) added ByteDance's Seedance 2.5 to its creative suite, bringing three capabilities that reset expectations for AI video: 30 seconds of continuous video in a single generation, full multi-shot sequences, and up to 50 reference inputs. For a platform known for fast, iterative image and video workflows, this is the biggest video model upgrade Krea has shipped since Seedance 2.0 arrived, and it moves the tool from generating shots toward generating edited scenes.

## Multi-shot sequences, not just longer clips

The 30-second runtime doubles what Seedance 2.0 could do, but the more interesting change is what happens inside those 30 seconds. Seedance 2.5 handles full multi-shot storytelling: cuts, camera changes, and scene progression within a single generation, with character identity and lighting held consistent across shots. Krea's [model page](<https://www.krea.ai/models/seedance-2-5>) lists output at up to 4K resolution with native synchronized audio generated in the same pass. That combination, length plus editing structure plus audio, is what makes a raw generation start to resemble a finished short-form video rather than a fragment.

## 50 references means every subject gets an anchor

Reference capacity jumps from 12 inputs to 50, spanning images, video clips, and audio. Krea's write-up frames the practical impact well: you can supply a separate reference for every character, product, and object in a complex scene, and each subject stays visually stable across the full clip. The model also holds macro details like stitching, fabric texture, and material properties through camera moves, which has been a chronic weak point for AI video in product and fashion work.

Prompt adherence improves by about 20 percent over Seedance 2.0, and a region editor lets you fix parts of a video without regenerating the whole thing: swap a background, correct a label, adjust one element while the rest of the shot stays locked. For Krea users accustomed to rapid iteration loops, targeted fixes beat full re-rolls both in time and in cost.

## Where this fits in Krea's suite

Krea has built its reputation on being the fast, hands-on layer over frontier models, with real-time canvases, enhancers, and a model lineup that already includes heavy hitters across image and video. Seedance 2.5 slots in as the long-form video engine of that roster. The workflow story is straightforward: generate or refine stills in Krea's image tools, feed them into Seedance 2.5 as references, and direct a multi-shot 30-second sequence around them. The model is available now in Krea's model selector for text-to-video, image-to-video, and reference-guided generation.

Seedance 2.5 is rolling out across several creative platforms this week, so the model itself will not stay a differentiator for long. The reason to run it inside Krea is the surrounding toolkit: fast iteration, integrated image generation for building reference sets, and editing tools that let you act on the region-level control the model now exposes.
