# Dictate in the Inbox

Teammates can speak for up to two minutes, with replies and notes appearing as editable text at the cursor.

Teammates can now speak replies and notes instead of typing them in the [Intercom](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/intercom>) Inbox. The [new feature](<https://www.intercom.com/changes/en/160236-dictate-in-the-inbox>) turns speech into editable text for the composer.

## Dictate, review and send

Click Dictate in the composer and talk for up to two minutes. The words appear as text at the cursor, ready to edit before sending. Nothing goes to the customer until the teammate has checked it.
