# HyperFrames v0.8.36

Studio's preview no longer drifts while paused, blanks while typing, or re-encodes video the browser can already play.

Three fixes in this release target how the Studio preview behaves while editing a project in [HyperFrames](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/resources/hyperframes>), according to the [changelog entry](<https://hyperframes.heygen.com/changelog#hyper-frames-v0-8-36>).

- Pausing the preview now actually keeps it still. Sub-compositions used to keep animating after an edit and a seek even while the button said paused, and the same leak advanced exported frames between captures.

- Typing in the Design panel no longer blanks the preview. Every edit used to reload the preview iframe for several seconds because Studio could not read its own write label over the event stream.

- Opening a project no longer re-encodes VP9 or AV1 video that the browser already plays natively, and the Studio bundle is now cached instead of refetched on every open.

The release also includes a breaking change: **consumeFileWriteReceipt** in studio-server is renamed **identifyFileWrite**. The old name stays for one release as a deprecated alias but no longer removes the receipt, and BROWSER\_HOSTILE\_CODECS entries are now objects with representativeMime and prewarm fields. Separately, the Catalog now shows the install command above the preview.
