# HyperFrames v0.8.205

By Steven Van · 2026-10-26

HyperFrames v0.8.205 adds a Windows app download prompt and GIF loop counts in Studio, plus fixes across the engine, producer and CLI.

On Windows, the [HyperFrames](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/resources/hyperframes>) CLI now offers to download the HyperFrames app. Running hyperframes followed by a folder opens that project in the app. The [v0.8.205 release](<https://github.com/heygen-com/hyperframes/commit/85dcc193d560567c8d08e7f09c0f7fc9f2197c56>) also lets Studio export a GIF with a loop count.

## Features

- CLI: offers the HyperFrames app download on Windows.

- CLI: hyperframes followed by a directory opens the project in the app.

- Studio: GIF export supports a loop count.

## Fixes

- Engine: a video held past its media end keeps following its animation.

- Producer: scene font faces are deduplicated before embedding.

- Producer: disabled looping is honoured for finite-loop GIF inputs.

- Examples: the K8s Chrome pin is aligned with the managed version.

- CLI: benchmark render files are isolated, UTF-8 is preserved across subprocess output chunks, and the restored skip-skills option is described.

- Media Use: concurrent preference records are serialized.

- Lint: the variables-entry and CSS parse findings now include fix hints.

- Core: the fonts gate starts loading declared faces that no laid-out text uses yet.

- Player: new controls stay in sync with playback.

## Examples docs corrected

The linked commit fixes the CLI's examples docs topic. It listed title-card and video-edit, which do not exist, and none of the eight examples in registry/examples. The topic now covers blank plus those eight: decision-tree, kinetic-type, nyt-graph, play-mode, product-promo, swiss-grid, vignelli and warm-grain. It also notes that blank is the only example that works offline. The usage line reads npx hyperframes init name --example example, and a new test checks the topic against the registry.
