# HyperFrames v0.8.189

By Steven Van · 2026-10-23

Fixes cover mixing many audio clips, opaque ProRes extraction, consistent x264 and x265 threading, and Studio history on drives without hard links.

Four fixes in [HyperFrames](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/resources/hyperframes>) [v0.8.189](<https://hyperframes.heygen.com/changelog#hyper-frames-v0-8-189>) make renders behave the same across different machines and drives. They cover audio mixing, ProRes handling, encoder threading and Studio's history lock.

## Rendering engine

- **Audio mixing:** any number of audio clips can be mixed, because the engine now sums them in stages.

- **ProRes:** an opaque ProRes clip extracts to jpg frames. Only ProRes with alpha stays png.

- **Encoding threads:** x264 and x265 now use the same thread count on any host size, so output no longer depends on the machine's size.

## Studio server

The Studio history lock now works on drives that do not support hard links.
