# HyperFrames v0.8.18

Studio now switches the canvas and timeline for compositions stored anywhere in a project.

[HyperFrames](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/resources/hyperframes>) 0.8.18 fixes a Studio bug where switching to a composition stored outside the compositions/ folder wouldn't update the canvas and timeline. Snapshots also now preserve playback rate, nested-media timing, static compositions, and source files.

- Studio: switching the canvas and timeline now works for compositions stored anywhere in a project, not just inside compositions/.

- Core: long nested videos stay visible when their local start comes before the host window's start.

- CLI: trimmed or accelerated videos now capture the correct source frame.

- CLI: keyframe-shot outputs that would overwrite the active composition's source file are now rejected.

- CLI: intentional data-no-timeline compositions no longer trigger false frozen-sweep errors.
