# HyperFrames v0.8.178

HyperFrames v0.8.178 pins Chrome for check, snapshot and renders, keeps Studio scratch files out of projects, and speeds up cloud renders and colour grades.

Check, snapshot and renders in [HyperFrames](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/resources/hyperframes>) now always use the Chrome version the project pinned, rather than an older copy another tool had cached. This is part of [v0.8.178](<https://github.com/heygen-com/hyperframes/commit/563869f0f55495d643d5ab9ed25e0b64d2bfe8b9>), which also covers Studio, the CLI and cloud renders.

## Fixes

- **CLI:** installing the CLI no longer downloads a code formatter that was not used.

- **CLI:** check, snapshot and renders use the pinned Chrome, not an older one another tool cached.

- **Studio:** render scratch files stay out of the project, and error telemetry counts real failures only.

- **CLI:** snapshot --proxy exits once its frames are written, without waiting for copies.

## Performance

- **Cloud:** project files are moved once through shared content storage.

- **Core:** a colour grade compiles only the effects it turns on.

## Docs and internal changes

The release adds a weekly changelog digest for 12 to 19 October. Internal changes include a file size check that fetches two commits instead of the whole history, an edit accuracy bench that no longer waits on background lint and thumbnail images, and browser tests that kill a Chrome whose close hangs instead of timing out.
