# HyperFrames v0.8.157

By Steven Van · 2026-10-14

WSL renders regain GPU access on Chrome 150 and later, avoiding the previous fallback to slow software rendering.

GPU rendering works again under WSL on Chrome 150 and later in [HyperFrames](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/resources/hyperframes>) v0.8.157. Affected renders previously fell back to slow software rendering.

## How the GPU fix works

Chrome 150 and later find no GPU when WSLg’s WAYLAND\_DISPLAY is set. HyperFrames now checks again without that variable and uses that configuration only if it reaches the GPU.

## Other fixes and internal changes

- Graded videos keep their colour grade on the first rendered frame. This fix shipped in v0.8.156 but was missing from that release’s notes.

- Docker images and host CI now pin FFmpeg to version 8.0.1.

- Internal Studio changes settle the edit accuracy benchmark on frames and network, and reuse the producer Chrome.
