# HyperFrames v0.8.149

Apps can import transcribe and removeBackground as functions that return typed results and throw typed errors.

Apps can now call transcribe and removeBackground directly as functions in [HyperFrames](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/resources/hyperframes>) v0.8.149. The release adds a hyperframes/api entry that exports both functions.

## Direct calls with typed results

Apps import the functions from hyperframes/api to receive typed results and catch typed errors. Tools such as HyperFrames Desktop no longer need to run the CLI as a child process to call them.

The change is included in the [v0.8.149 release](<https://hyperframes.heygen.com/changelog#hyper-frames-v0-8-149>), released on October 11, 2026.
