# HyperFrames v0.8.116

Animation starts now display correctly when seeking, and apps embedding Studio can route custom thumbnails through its scheduler.

Seeking to the exact start of an animation now shows that animation instead of an earlier animation’s end in [HyperFrames](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/resources/hyperframes>). The fix is part of [v0.8.116](<https://hyperframes.heygen.com/changelog#hyper-frames-v0-8-116>), released October 3, 2026.

## Custom thumbnails in embedded Studio

Apps that embed Studio can now pass their own pictures through Studio’s thumbnail scheduler using the exported useThumbnailStill hook. This lets host-supplied thumbnails follow the scheduler’s ordering so previews load first.

## Internal testing changes

Test-only changes under Studio or Player no longer require captures. Studio’s edit accuracy benchmark also now uses the port its server actually bound to.
