# Vercel and HeyGen ship a one-click HyperFrames render template By Steven Van · 2026-05-08 The Apache-2.0 template pre-bakes a Vercel Sandbox snapshot so renders start in about 100ms and run three parallel Chrome workers. Vercel and HeyGen have published a [HyperFrames-on-Vercel template](): a one-click deploy that previews HTML video compositions in the browser and renders them to MP4 server-side, using **Vercel Sandbox** for rendering and Vercel Blob for storing the output. [HyperFrames]() needs a full Chromium and FFmpeg at runtime, which exceeds the 50MB bundle limit on regular Vercel Functions. The template works around this by pre-baking a Vercel Sandbox snapshot at build time, so a render restores it in about 100ms instead of installing dependencies on every request. Sandbox runs as an Amazon Linux 2023 Firecracker microVM with up to 8 vCPUs; the template uses 4, which lets HyperFrames run 3 parallel Chrome workers and roughly halves render time versus the single-worker default. A cold render of the bundled ~11-second example composition takes about 2 minutes. The template ships with one pre-authored composition; building your own means authoring locally with the HyperFrames CLI (npx hyperframes init, npx hyperframes preview) and dropping the bundle into the project. On Vercel's **Pro** plan, the $20/month Sandbox credit covers roughly 100 renders of the bundled example. The template is licensed Apache-2.0, matching HyperFrames itself.
