# Custom MCP servers in Supercomputer

By Steven Van · 2026-05-22

Supercomputer users can paste any public MCP server URL into the chat, sign in through OAuth, and disconnect from the chat later.

Any public MCP server can now be connected to [Higgsfield](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/higgsfield>) Supercomputer by its URL, directly in the chat. This is in addition to the built-in connector catalog.

## How it works

- **Connect:** paste the server URL in the chat with the agent.

- **Authorize:** log in to the external service through OAuth.

- **Manage:** disconnect the same way, from the chat.

To get started, open Supercomputer and ask the agent to connect an MCP server by URL.

## Who runs the server

External servers are run by their own providers. Higgsfield covers only the connection on its side. Details are in the [original announcement](<https://higgsfield.ai/supercomputer>).
