By Steven Van · 2026-09-21

The benchmark from HeyGen, HyperFrames and Kaggle scores AI-generated motion graphics against 168 human-made reference videos.

[HeyGen](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/heygen>) and HyperFrames, working with the Kaggle team, have released [Code2Video Bench](<https://x.com/i/status/2102084939026247684>), a benchmark for measuring how well AI agents turn a creative brief into code-rendered motion graphics rather than raw video pixels.

The benchmark scores agents against 168 human-created reference videos, judging results on engagement, prompt intent, composition, timing, and craft.
