# Harvey Brings Intake to Claude for Legal Artifacts Launch

Legal teams share a Claude artifact so employees can ask questions and submit requests, with routing, assignment and tracking handled in Harvey.

Business teams can now send legal questions and requests from inside Claude, with the work managed in Harvey. [Harvey is a launch partner](<https://www.harvey.ai/en-US/blog/harvey-intake-claude-for-legal-artifact>) for the latest Claude for Legal release, which adds a gallery of ready-to-use artifacts that legal teams can adapt and share across the business. [Harvey](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/harvey>)'s contribution is the Harvey Intake artifact.

## How the Intake artifact works

Legal teams share the artifact with employees, who get a place in Claude to ask legal questions, submit requests and track responses. The artifact connects to Harvey through its MCP server. When a business user submits something:

- Routine questions are answered using Legal's guidance, playbooks and prior work in Harvey.

- Requests that need legal judgment are routed to a lawyer in Harvey, and the response is returned to the requester in Claude.

- Every request is logged in Intake, where Legal can set assignment rules, track progress and triage incoming work.

- Requesters can check status and follow up on their requests within Claude.

## Example: a marked-up contract

When a prospect returns a marked-up contract, the account executive submits it through the Harvey Intake artifact in Claude. The assigned lawyer reviews the changes in Harvey and returns the revised contract to the account executive in Claude. Legal manages the request and review in one place, and the account executive can track progress without switching tools.

## Harvey in other Claude Artifacts

Legal teams can also connect to Harvey inside other Claude Artifacts, bringing in the context they already keep in Harvey with no manual uploads.

Harvey says it will continue building with Anthropic to bring legal guidance into the tools business teams already use.
