# Introducing Grok 4.7

xAI says Grok 4.7 works longer on hard tasks and double-checks its output, at the same price and speed as Grok 4.6.

xAI has released **Grok 4.7**, an update to the model behind [Grok](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/grok>) aimed at coding and knowledge work.

The company says the new model works longer on difficult tasks, checks its own work more carefully, and has stronger safeguards than Grok 4.6, while keeping the same price and speed. Its [announcement](<https://x.com/i/status/2102069815225586149>) compares the two models by having each build an open-world city game.
