# Gemini 3.8 Flash and Flash-Lite TTS Launch

Google splits Gemini TTS into a fidelity-focused Flash model and a faster Flash-Lite, both with a new Voices endpoint.

Google has released two new text-to-speech models for the [Gemini](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/gemini>) API: **Gemini 3.8 Flash TTS** and **Flash-Lite TTS**. Flash is built for voice fidelity and nuanced delivery, while Flash-Lite targets faster, higher-volume generation.

Both are available now through the Gemini API and in Google AI Studio, alongside a new Voices endpoint and voice design options, according to the [announcement](<https://x.com/i/status/2102781516107370894>).
