# Gemini adds a free year of student access

Google's update also brings Gemini 3.7 Flash, a Waymo integration, visible AI watermarks and new Gemini Live features.

Google says [Gemini](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/gemini>) became the fastest growing product in the company's history this month, and its 14th to reach a billion users. Alongside that milestone, Google [rounded up a batch of updates](<https://x.com/i/status/2093448179169542399>) shipped across the app:

- A free one-year student plan, plus a student hub with interactive study notebooks.

- **Gemini 3.7 Flash** is now available in chat and in Spark.

- Gemini is coming to Waymo.

- A new toggle lets users make AI watermarks visible.

- Clip extension now runs on Omni 1.1 Flash.

- More app connections, and new agentic capabilities in Gemini Live.
