Google says over 99% came from people who had never built an Android app before, no coding required.

More than 250,000 Android apps have been built in [Google AI Studio](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/google-ai-studio>) since it added the ability to build native Android apps, according to Google. The company says likely more than 99% of those apps were made by people who had never built an Android app before, with no coding required.

Google frames the number against Android's installed base of over 3 billion active users, now reachable by anyone using the tool. Full details are in the [original announcement](<https://ai.studio/build>).
