# Xcode 27 runner image now runs on macOS 27

The image stays in public preview with unchanged xcode-27 labels and runs on arm64 macOS runners only.

The [GitHub](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/github>)-hosted Xcode 27 runner image for macOS now runs on macOS 27, up from macOS 26, letting developers test Apple apps against the new OS. It remains in public preview, keeps the same labels, xcode-27 and xcode-27-xlarge, and runs on arm64 macOS runners only.
