# Agentic autofix now uses Copilot Memory

Agentic autofix now checks and stores Copilot Memory fix patterns, which other Copilot features like code review can also draw on.

Agentic autofix, which resolves security alerts, now draws on [GitHub](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/github>) Copilot Memory when a customer has it enabled. Before proposing a fix, it checks stored memories for relevant context, and once it creates a fix it stores that fix pattern as a new memory for future alerts.

Those memories are not limited to autofix. Because facts captured by one Copilot feature are available to others, a fix pattern autofix learns can also inform Copilot code review and Copilot cloud agent about secure development patterns specific to a repository. Both agentic autofix and Copilot Memory remain in [public preview](<https://docs.github.com/enterprise-cloud@latest/copilot/concepts/agents/copilot-memory>).
