# Framer adds Spectrum and Crystal logo shaders

By Steven Van · 2026-05-21

Both were designed by Benjamin Nathan; Crystal turns a logo to glass with refractions, bevels and dispersion.

Framer added two new Logo Shaders, Spectrum and Crystal, both designed by Benjamin Nathan.

- **Spectrum** is a black-and-white shader with deflecting lines of light that can be distorted in various ways.

- **Crystal** turns a logo into glass, letting you add your own images and apply refractions, bevels, contours, animations and dispersion.

Both are [available now in Framer](<https://www.framer.com/updates/spectrum-crystal-shaders>).
