# Framer's Liquid and Logo Gradient shaders now respond to the cursor

By Steven Van · 2026-07-16

Spring-based mouse tracking is a new toggle on both shaders, with colour, motion and intensity all adjustable.

Framer has added mouse interaction to two of its Shaders: **Liquid Gradient** and **Logo Gradient**. Liquid Gradient moves animated colour fields across the screen as the cursor moves, while Logo Gradient applies a shifting gradient effect to SVGs and PNGs. Both use spring-based cursor tracking, and colours, motion and intensity can all be tweaked.

To turn it on, select a shader and click the **+** on its new Mouse property.
