# FluidVoice brings local dictation to Windows in an early preview

By Steven Van · 2026-10-22

FluidVoice’s Windows preview keeps your voice off the cloud and uses formatting models tuned to run on your own GPU or CPU.

[FluidVoice](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/apps/fluidvoice>) released an early preview of its dictation app for Windows on October 22.

Like the Mac version, it does not send your voice to the cloud. It comes with what FluidVoice calls state-of-the-art formatting models, tuned to run on a wide range of GPUs and CPUs, and the company says the formatting beats cloud models.

It is an early preview, so expect rough edges. The download link is in FluidVoice’s post.
